The Alpha 18 version will be released as early access in 2019 on Steam.

Regarding Steam, we’ve been Greenlit by the community so we will make sure that the game is fun and polished enough for a Steam release. Every existing owner of the game will receive a free Steam key when the game will be available on the Steam platform.

The game is only compatible with Windows for now.

  • 64 Bits OS version is required for launching the game.
  • We strongly recommend to update your graphic card drivers before playing the game.
  • The game DOES NOT support integrated graphics chipsets (Intel HD graphics series).
  • Playing with less than 6 GB of RAM on your system is not recommended as you can experience “out of memory” crashes.

It’s not planned yet. We are focusing our efforts on a good and engaging single player mode. Multiplayer will maybe come in the future but we can’t make any promises.

Yes the game is built with modding support in mind and the game provide an extensive set of modding tools.

Yes we have a dedicated wiki for that purpose. This wiki is open for community contributions so do not hesitate to contribute !

Of course not ! Since we are a small studio we bought some assets from specialized websites, so since those websites are opened for every developer you might have seen some assets in other game before. If Dangerous rays is successful enough we will hire more 3D artists to replace those assets with exclusive content. A lot of assets are still made by us. We don’t use external assets for everything of course.

We don’t have any open position for now at Lonely Bits Game, if Dangerous Rays is successful enough we will start to hire some people, but we want to stay a small indie studio anyway.
